little things

 :: tea parties ... complete with fried eggs, ravioli and water-tea.

 :: spring can't make up it's mind around here.  Snow, slush, snow, mud, snow, slush (repeat).

 :: weekend trips to Kindersley (or, as Avery says, "Kinderweese") with a pit-stop at Tim's before heading back home, no matter how many dimes short we are after a month long shopping list.

 :: twin day.  (She thought this was just the best.)

 :: tuckered out after an afternoon of play with her best buddy Ava and two favorite college friends, Autumn and Katy!  (Thanks girls - you made her day and then some!)

 :: the typical scene in my kitchen while supper's on the go.

 :: chocolate cake in a mug ... at midnight.  Yes we did.  (Thanks, best friend Pinterest.)

 :: jolly jumping.  My baby feels all growed up.

:: favorite indulgence cookies.  No redeemable health factors here.  It's all bad, but so good.

:: and the best thing?  My parents are coming tomorrow for a week-long visit!  Yay!!

This little girl could not be happier with the warming weather.  Her cabin fever might have been worse than I suspected.  New pink rain-boots have been broken in and daily requests are made to go splashing in the big puddles again.  Isn't that what memories are made of?  Days are growing longer and brighter and it already feels so much better.
