dough

We made play dough yesterday.  Lots of it.  In neon colours no less.  It constituted a trip to the store for new storage containers and a bigger bin to hold all our supplies.  We've gotten a little more serious about it over here.  

Easiest thing ever to make your own play dough and it's so much nicer to use than the store bought stuff.  (We got our recipe from here.)  Avery loved helping me mix (at least in the early stages of each batch) and watching the colour swirl together.  Then she started playing and I'm pretty sure we hung out at the kitchen island for about two-and-a-half hours.  Not bad entertainment, I'd say!
